CLUB FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT
|
A major new development is under way which will provide new facilities and improvements to the existing Club facilities that will benefit the club and all members of the community in the years to come.
The facilities will be open to everyone in the community and provide alternative sports to Gaelic Football, i.e. Gym, Racquetball & Handball.
It was decided to raise the roof of the existing building to the same height as the new building. This will make the existing room upstairs much larger and will allow it to be used for other sport and cultural activities.
The work is progressing well and completion of the main development and running track is expected to be done by mid March 2010. The Racquetball/Handball Court will not be ready until later in the summer because the floor cannot be put down until the court is free of moisture.
